A SPORTS-ORIENTED PACKAGE
With effective but minimal fairing, the sports-oriented CBR650F is designed to conquer corners with ease while also being the ideal partner on busy urban streets.
For reliable stopping power in all conditions the twin 320mm wavy front and a single 240mm rear discs are complemented by standard fit ABS.
Built on the same platform as its naked counterpart the CB650F, the CBR650F’s slim feel and high-set handlebars give excellent control and confidence while its sharp lines and racing livery are reminiscent of Honda’s CBR legacy. The CBR650F is available in Australia in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Metalloid White (Tricolour)
CHASSIS & SUSPENSION
A high-quality steel diamond frame has been specifically tuned to deliver the desired handling characteristics and appropriate level of rider feedback. An upgraded front fairing design channels airflow from the high pressure area at the font of the bike to the interior air box intake duct to improve performance. The new design also incorporates an LED headlight.
The new free breathing exhaust gives the CBR650F a satisfying rush through improved flow management and front and rear tyres feature L-shaped air valves for easier maintenance.
The 2017 CBR650F has a new 41mm Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBV) fork with firmer compression damping, to improve rider comfort and handling.
NEW ENGINE LAMS APPROVED
A brand-new DOHC, 649cc four-cylinder engine has been developed to deliver high torque through the low-to-mid rpm range and strong acceleration from a standing start.
Positioned to sit forward in the chassis for optimal weight distribution, it is the true heart of the CBR650F.
PGM fuel injection is fed through a down-flow airbox and operates with information from four separate throttle body sensors on 32mm throttle bores for crisp and accurate throttle respons
